Dan Frio has spent more than 30 years in the lending industry, helping thousands of people understand credit, qualify for financing, and make smarter decisions about their money. He is a mortgage advisor with The Frio Team (NMLS #246527) and hosts The Rate Update with Dan Frio, a podcast and YouTube channel covering mortgage rates, housing market trends, and the economic forces that shape them.

Dan holds a degree in Economics from West Virginia University. He created Credit Scores and More to bring that same real-world lending experience to a wider audience, offering practical, no-nonsense guidance on credit scores, credit monitoring, credit repair, and credit counseling.
